Kintsugi: The Art of Broken Pieces

This autumn, for 20,000 people of the foreigners visiting Japan, who are mainly from IMF, the world general meeting, we will hold an exhibition titled “Welcome Japan Market”, of the special products and local specialties to advertise Japanese traditional arts and tourist attractions that represent from the tip of Hokkaido to Okinawa from 8th  to 14th of October 2012.

Our company advertises and sells the traditional industrial art object, Echizen lacquerware, that represents Fukui Prefecture.

Access to Marunouchi Building

His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen of Kingdom of Bhutan visited Japan from November 16, 2011 as the national guest. At the welcome reception on November 17, one of the invited guests, Issei Nishikawa, Governor of Fukui Prefecture presented the Royal couple with the atomizers designed and made by Yamakyu Japanware Co., together with his personal letter.
Kingdom of Bhutan is known as the leading country of “Gross National Happiness” and the reason of the invitation was that Fukui Prefecture is making efforts to increase the level of “Hometown Life Happiness”. We sincerely wish the friendship and mutual happiness between Bhutan and Fukui will be developed further.
